Tennessee -3 3.3% play
You literally have one of the best teams at home the past two years in the SEC against the worst road team in the SEC the past few years. The Aggies literally have not won a road game since Missouri in 2021, a game where they were 11.5 point favorites. To make matters worse they suffered their 2nd loss of the season last week against Alabama. I just don’t see how they can get back up for this game. I think Tennessee who ranks 3rd in tempo is going to give this defense a hard time considering they haven’t faced an opponent that runs even in the top 75 in pace. Not exactly what you want the week after playing against Alabama.
Value on Tennessee, because they lost to Florida on the road, and to me they redeemed by dominating South Carolina. The Vols play great defense, ranking 10th in success rate pass defense, and 7th in defensive success rate. They have not had a tougher schedule than A&M, but they have much more to play for in my opinion, and while I”m not suggesting A&M is giving up on the season they have a very tough task of going on the road against a team with arguably the better coach, with an extra week of prep.
